Kansas, Part 2

Last weekend, we went to visit my brother-in-law and his family (that is his cute baby son in the videos from Kansas, Part 1). It was a spur of the moment kind of thing... we left in the afternoon and drove late into the night before getting to the hotel. The kids each brought a backpack of books and read to each other on the way.

Sophia singing one of her own songs as we travel down the road.

Fishing

Gillie, off her leash and being a good dog. I am so proud of her!

Both families

On the road again

Noah navigating

More singing on the way home

Not pictured are the kids learning to play Phase 10 with the grown ups, me eating an entire medium pizza, and crazy hotel antics. It was nice to see everyone, and a great trial run for the BIG road trip... which I will leave you waiting on pins and needles for.

Hey. :) Thanks for the comment. I really have enjoyed using the idea. The kids know to get their sticks before we leave the house and it's worked wonders. I think we'll be using it even when Jon gets back. :D

I hope you all are doing well! I hope you didn't get snowed in too much. Gotta love that crazy weather! LOL. After that and now Germany, I'll be glad for some Sun ASAP! :D

Have a great week!!!
