It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Oh YEAH, it's about that time again!

You all know how much I love curriculum ordering time! I am making a list and checking it twice. A little taste of Christmas in 102 degree weather.

Sophia will be getting A Beka 2nd Grade Language and Math-U-See Beta. I am probably going to order A Beka Language A for Noah, but he might not use it just yet. I am a little concerned it might be too dry for him and his BIG imagination. I have a really great book about story writing that we will use until he is ready for Language A. He will also be using Math-U-See Delta. May or may not get this, too... my kids would love it. They totally think this way! :o)

Also, I am finally doing it. After years of talking it up, we are starting formal science with God's Design! As excited as I am about it, I am going to miss unschooling science. We will still have delight directed learning, and we'll have fun with the workbooks, but it just won't be the same. *sniff*

Living history and geography from the library again this year, and Holy Spirit led Bible instruction.

We aren't doing a formal history curriculum for another few years, but I am starting to think about it now. Draw and Write looks pretty good, if I were to get something this year or next. I would like to be able to get my hands on it before I buy it, though. I like The Mystery of History and History Revealed for later on... decisions, decisions! What history curriculum do you use?
