Bookmaking

Here's a great way to save special coloring books or sticker books that are finished.

Slip the pages in clear page protectors and bind them in a pocketless 3-ring paper folder.

Tape the cover to the front of the folder. You may need to trim the page protectors and tape the ends if they hang out.

These folders and protectors are pretty cheap. Maybe the kids could write and illustrate their own stories and bind them as a creative writing exercise.

This is also a great way to keep a portfolio of work... samples of language, art, math, etc (use a big plastic binder for a year long portfolio).

What a great idea! :-) It seems such a waste to color a pretty colorbook and then what do you do with it later? I'm definitely saving this idea.

Have a great day!
