We got off to a great start this morning. We had school and morning chores all done (the kids even helped scrub floors!) in time to have an afternoon playdate with some friends. Afterward, we made a hotel room for the new Happy Meal sheepdogs.
We always use old cardboard boxes for our houses. This time I folded the flaps in to cut the windows and door, then folded them out to decorate.
Sophia designed art and frames for the walls using the cardboard from the windows.
Coming along...
Noah did some of the outside wall rubbing.
I don't know where these trees came from. I saved them out of a kit awhile ago. You never know what you'll find in the craft cabinet. All finished!
Here is the new Sheepdog Hotel (we also take cats) with the neighbor dog's house we made last year. They last forever! I imagine we'll have dollhouse furniture moved in before too long, and be enjoying a very cozy neighborhood.

Hey!
Love the house! You are just to creative Jen. You should share some of that creativity with the rest of us. Tell the kids that I said hello and we miss them lots. I sure do miss our weekly get togethers and our great conversations! Talk to you soon!
Okay...your rock!
