Thank You for Shopping at Flashy Store

Meet Miss Rachel. She owns Flashy Store. She sells muffins, coconuts, biscuits, bread, and milk. She uses the calculator to multiply and add on the receipts. She prices the items in her store herself. If it is harder to make an item, the price is higher. That's how that works.

It must be really hard to make biscuits. Sometimes I get to run Flashy Store, like when Miss Rachel has to fly to Iraq to visit her husband, or when she takes 3 years off to have 2 children and amnesia. But when she comes back (and after I recognize her), we take turns running the store and we begin to carry journals. Because that's the only sensible thing to do.

I'm guessing the $30.99 takes into consideration wheat seed, growing it, therefore ?paying laborers? to weed, irrigate, harvest, thresh it; then grinding it into flour. Then breed the cow (gotta pay for that stud fee somehow), and use the milk to make butter. Add in some more fresh, probably raw organic milk (that always brings a premium). Then of course you need someone to chop firewood for the wood stove to cook them, and pay the air conditioning bill to cool the house off again... Yup.. $10 a biscuit sounds right.. LOL

Looks like she had fun! I wish I could get $5.99 a loaf for my bread, too!!
