The kids made some play mats out of butcher paper. I laid out the roads.
When they were finished, we built towns on them with blocks.
Here is the ferry, and the gate to the next town that only opens if you solve a riddle.
This idea came from a video we had watched in the morning.

What video did you get that idea from? How awesome is that??!! I keep telling you-WRITE A HOMESCHOOLING IDEAS BOOK! I know I would buy it. You are so very creative! Your mind works very differently than mine. I think for hours of stuff to do with the kids!
