Baby steps make a skirt...
Okay, so I didn't make the whole skirt. It was a dress, but the top was too tight for Soph, and I cut it off and sewed some elastic in it. And I didn't even cry. Hooray!
Sophia joined me for some "stitching" on her lacing cards.
Noah really enjoys these cards, too. His favorite is the rooster. They are kinda fun... colorful, relaxing, and most importantly, NOT the sewing machine.

Oh, you could not be more wrong. Embrace the sewing machine. Respect the sewing machine. It does so much.
You can hate the zipper foot, though.
